I have been recently working to create a Monster Hunter Journal that contains creatures and their various byproducts, should one seek them out, hunt them down and skin them successfully. As such, I wanted to begin creating lairs related to those creatures to accompany that journal, so you can more easily take your party to those locations and hunt them in their natural habitat.

Thus, I present the Manticore Lair, an old ruined village in the mountains, its skeletal buildings long since picked clean by bandits and the elements. Even still, rumors surround the ruined site and occasionally bring an adventuring party to the doorstep of a fearsome hunter that lairs in the old tower there. We have a great illustrated scene by Ha Art to help set the stage.

The map has a wide variety of elevation changes, buildings to explore, hard and soft cover and other features to make the encounter(s) interesting and challenging. It would also be a great location for a variety of narratives that would serve your current campaign:

Bandits
Cultists/Necromancer
Undead
Ogres or Goblins
