Welcome to the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth!
The 50th Anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons ushered in a variety of looks forward and backward for the game, and one of those included a re-released version of the module, Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, which features two large caverns.
This is the second of those [2] caverns, the Greater Caverns. I've included a concept image by Enmanuel Lema Martinez to help set the mood of one of its many dangers.
The Greater Caverns contains many different chambers and pathways, some quiet and empty, others teeming with danger and life. The various rooms are designed to follow the contents of the module (Quests from the Infinite Staircase or Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth), for anyone wanting to run that adventure.
The location could certainly be used for any of your homebrew adventures or ideas taking place in the Underdark or some other subterranean location, as a lair of dragons, giants, umber hulks, mycanoids, necromancers and other similar creatures.
I've added many levels of detail, as well as a few features of my own to help give the caverns a greater sense of life, activity and history.
I hope you enjoy the completed set of caverns and can tell some great stories!
I will post in the comments where you can grab a higher-res version of the map for your table, since FB compresses the image and it's quite a large setting.
