Lair of the Green Wyrm [62 x 82]
Lair of the Green Wyrm [62 x 82]

The map on the left was drawn by my new friend, Aaron Froke (Instagram), which was a wonderful map of a devious Green Dragon that had assumed the lair of a long-gone civilization and replaced its halls with a combination of human and troll servants.

I thought it would be a great challenge (and a lot of fun) to try and convert his original vision into a digital version via Dungeondraft that could be used in VTT environments to play out the scenario and adventure, and we discussed several of his plans for each room/chamber, though the final version is yet to be decided.

I love both styles, and this was a super fun way to transform an awesome hand drawn map into a VTT-ready digital rendition DM's could slot in right away.

The dungeon, itself, features a fairly linear progression through the halls of an old civilization, now teeming with human servants and troll protectors. The dragon resides in a large cavern, where it terrorizes and feasts upon its human slaves, while favoring a few with high positions in order to bring it wealth and food. A few remnants of the old civilization remain, including an ancient shrine the dragon shielded with magic, though the curiosity of many weak-willed slaves has drawn many to their deaths, attempting to bypass the shield.

This could be a great map for social encounters with the dragon and/or its minions, a rescue mission, combat encounter or even a heist of some kind.

I hope you enjoy it!
