Welcome to the Restored House of Thalivar, a mage's tower that was once ravaged by intradimensional creatures and since restored by the local militia as a guard tower and home to a mage interested in repairing the once defunct Planar Beacon.

There are [5] total floors, with the 5th/Top floor being an ethereal spire accessible only by traveling to the Ethereal plane.

The remaining [4] floors have various purposes:

1st Floor contains a main gathering hall for the guardsmen and visitors, a renovated kitchen, servant's quarters, small guard barracks, hidden shrine (off servant's quarters) and a researcher's office.

2nd Floor contains [2] guard barracks, an armory, officer's office, and guardsman's hall for relaxing and gathering for missions.

3rd Floor contains the wizard's personal quarters, a laboratory and library for conducting planar and other types of research.

4th Floor contains the Planar Beacon and several cold iron cages meant for interacting with the beacon and housing aggressive interdimensional creatures, as well as a stairways leading toward the spire.

The tower was designed to follow Thalivar's Beacon from Divine Contention, but could certainly be used for any type of guard/mage tower with an item of power on the top floor. As these various floors are completely separate, it would also be fairly straightforward to reorder the floors, or to omit particular floors that don't fit your narrative.
